Lake Tana awaits YOU!
The Lake Tana Biosphere Reserve has been established to protect the immensely valuable biological and cultural diversity of the area around Lake Tana, while at the same time promoting sustainable economic development and land use. Local communities will benefit from new environmentally-friendly sources of income and an improved living standard. The rich cultural heritage and unique biodiversity will be conserved for future generations to enjoy.
